The questions people ask me before they start, answered the way I answer them.
Before you start
What is trading, and how is it different from investing?
Investing means buying something and holding it for years, expecting it to grow. Trading works with price movements over much shorter horizons: days, hours or minutes. Neither is better than the other, they are different crafts. Trading asks for more time, more study and more tolerance for risk.
Do I need experience or a finance background?
No. The mentorship starts from zero and assumes nothing. My current students arrived having never opened a chart in their lives. What you do need is consistency: almost nobody quits because they cannot understand it, they quit because they cannot keep the rhythm.
How long does it take to learn?
The fundamentals take about three months of steady work. Reading a chart comfortably takes considerably longer than that: years, not weeks. I would rather tell you before you pay. Anyone promising you results in thirty days is selling you a fantasy.
What do I need in order to follow the classes?
A computer, a stable connection and TradingView, whose free version covers everything we do. You do not need six monitors or paid software.
Do I need a broker before I start?
No. Choosing the platform and getting it set up is part of the mentorship, we do it together. If you already have one, all the better.
Which market do you teach: stocks, futures, forex or crypto?
All of them. Market structure does not change with the asset: the same chart reads the same way in stocks, futures, forex or crypto. We look at several markets in the sessions, and over time each student settles on the one that suits them.
Is this for day trading or for longer holding periods?
First you learn to read structure. We work on timeframes at the end of the third month, once you have something to decide with. Starting there would be picking a schedule before knowing what you plan to do with it.
How the mentorship works
Are the classes live or recorded?
Live, on Zoom, twice a week, one hour per session. It is not a recorded course: I am in front of the chart with you, at the same moment, and you can stop me whenever something is not clear. Every session is recorded and sent to you, but the recording is for review — it is not the product.
What days and times are the sessions?
We set the schedule with each group. I am in Florida, Eastern time, and since we are never more than four people it is realistic to find an hour that works for everyone, whether you are in the US, Mexico, Colombia, Chile or Spain.
Are the sessions in English or Spanish?
I run separate groups: one in Spanish and one in English. Nobody has to sit through a class in a language they only half-follow.
Do I have to speak or turn my camera on?
The sessions are participative: you can ask, comment and interrupt me whenever you want, and that is what I expect. If some days you would rather just listen and type in the chat, that is fine too.
What if I miss a session?
You get the recording of every session, so you can catch up. And if something in that class does not land, you ask in writing or we pick it up at the start of the next one.
Can I ask questions between sessions?
Yes. Students get access to a private Discord where they can write to me any time. A question does not have to wait until next Tuesday.
How much time do I need outside the sessions?
I do not set a minimum, but I give homework, and the people who do it move much faster. Looking at charts on your own between one session and the next is where the learning actually happens.
What happens when the three months end?
You decide. You can carry on another month if you feel you need it, or close there, and you can stay in the Discord if you want to keep in touch. There is no lock-in and nothing renews on its own.
Is there a place available right now?
It depends on the moment. Because each group is four people, sometimes one is forming and you can join straight away, and sometimes you wait for the next one to start. Write to me and I will tell you how it stands that day, without dressing it up.
Straight answers
Do you give signals or copy trading?
No, and I do not intend to. Following someone else's signals might hand you the odd win, but it gives you no judgement: it leaves you depending on another person indefinitely. The goal here is that you read the chart without me.
Can you guarantee I will make money?
No. Nobody honest can. What I teach is how to read the chart; what you do with that reading afterwards is yours, and so is the risk.
How do I know this is not a scam?
It is a fair question and you should ask it of anyone selling financial education. What I can offer you: the price is published, the syllabus is published, you know who is teaching, and we talk on a video call before you pay anything. As a general rule, be wary of anyone showing luxury cars, guaranteeing profits, or rushing you with a countdown on the screen.
